March 31, 2020 – HIEC continues to monitor developments with COVID-19 and the rapidly changing situation as our community makes a conscious effort to practice social distancing with a view to minimizing the spread of COVID-19.  These are uncertain times for so many of our event participants, volunteers and supporters and our priority is their safety. March 13, 2020 – Ontario’s chief medical officer Dr. David Williams has just announced the “immediate suspension” of all gatherings over 250 people because of the risks of #COVID19.
