WOMEN AS CAREER COACHES
Sharing expertise and career paths connecting women leaders and rising talent.
Thank You for Being Part of Something Extraordinary!
For over 20 years, Women as Career Coaches (WACC) has brought together thousands of youth and mentors from the Halton Region and beyond to engage in informal conversation, listen to a line-up of inspiring spotlight speakers, and participate in panel discussions about various career pathways.
This empowering evening is designed to provide the next generation with the opportunity to discover a wide range of potential career paths. Youth thrive when surrounded by strong adult role models who help create an evening of support and empowerment as they navigate the professional world. Mentors and career coaches from various professions, post-secondary pathways, and education levels are invited to speak to attendees.

This event made me feel much less anxious about the future, especially navigating academics as a woman of colour. Inspiring, insightful, and truly a necessary and wonderful experience.
I feel more confident as being in my last year of high school being reminded that it is OK to not know 100% what I want to do.
I absolutely loved the environment of the event, it makes young women feel beyond supported!
Excellent practical, positive messaging for young women, facilitating opportunity-orientated conversations at the tables. So proud and honoured to participate in such an impactful event.
I love this event! It is such an honour to participate. Please continue this event! You are changing the lives of women!
